(2025.12.22聖靈的安慰)
一個人生命的價值,並不是靠外在的成就、擁有多少,或世界所給予的稱讚與榮耀;人所認定、屬於今世的價值,都不能存到永遠,乃是虛榮,服在虛空之下;當人離開世界時,今生所得到的一切,也都不能帶走;倘若人在活著的時候,面對突如其來的風暴、災禍與環境的變化,去思想自己真正所倚靠的,究竟還能存留多少;若以世界的成就與錢財定義生命的價值,終究經不起今生的風暴與試煉,也不能在將來的審判中存留;
人多用世界的價值觀與成就去衡量一個人,但屬神的兒女不抬高人,也不迎合世界,更不讓自己被世界的觀點左右;這些屬世的衡量,不能為生命增添真正的益處;世人的眼光常以外貌取人,在神面前並無價值;當在乎的是神如何看自己,並竭力活出在神眼中被看為有價值、寶貴的生命,成為合神心意的人;不要讓自己一生在恐懼與嘆息中度日,直到生命結束,仍歸於空無;
神按著自己的形象造人,賜給人氣息,使人成為有靈的活人,是要人活著,得著神兒女尊貴的身分,有主的樣式,能活出彰顯神榮耀的生命;人的生命並非偶然存在,而是出於神的創造與救恩,並在神所預備的旨意中,行各樣的善事;所以,活著的目的不單是為了吃喝嫁娶,更當看重屬靈的生命;
人之所以活著有價值,是因為在神的救恩中,得著屬天國、尊貴的身分,就是神所賜兒女的身分;是因為原本污穢、死在罪中的生命,因著神的救贖,得著活潑的新生命;也是因為靠著聖靈的引導,從卑賤、污穢、有罪、原本可被棄絕的生命,轉變為聖潔、榮美、寶貴的生命;並因生命被更新,成為合乎神使用的器皿;
每一天當活在神的旨意中,屬神的人都是神親手所製作的作品,在基督裡被創造成;主早已為人預備前面的道路,何時會遇見何人,何時該往哪裡去,何時當在何處作什麼,人一生所經歷的一切,都在神的旨意之中;正如保羅的生命,他不再為自己而活,乃是照著神的旨意而活;他清楚知道生命的價值在於得著不能朽壞的冠冕,便為著永生竭力打那美好的仗;他將所託付的事看為極其重要,把傳揚靈魂得救的事放在首位,他的生命完全為主而活,為眾人的靈魂得救而勞苦,也為進入永生與得救的事行各樣的善事;

Living a Noble and Meaningful Life: Living for the Lord as Children of God
(2025.12.22 The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit)
The value of a person’s life is not measured by outward achievements, how much one possesses, or the praise and glory given by the world. What people define as value in this present age cannot last forever; it is vanity, subject to emptiness. When a person leaves this world, nothing gained in this life can be taken along. If, while still living, someone faces sudden storms, disasters, or drastic changes in circumstances, and begins to examine what they truly rely on, how much of it can really remain? When life’s value is defined by worldly success and wealth, it will not withstand the storms and trials of this life, nor will it stand in the judgment to come.
People often measure one another by worldly standards and achievements. But the children of God do not exalt people, do not cater to the world, and do not allow themselves to be controlled by the world’s viewpoints. These earthly measurements add no true benefit to life. Human eyes judge by outward appearance, which has no value before God. What truly matters is how God sees us, and striving to live a life that God considers precious and valuable—a life that is pleasing to Him. Do not let your entire life be spent in fear and sighing, only to end in emptiness when life is over.
God created mankind in His own image and breathed into humanity the breath of life, making us living beings with a spirit, so that we may live and receive the noble identity of being God’s children—bearing the likeness of the Lord and living a life that reveals God’s glory. Human life does not exist by accident; it comes from God’s creation and salvation, and it unfolds within the purposes He has prepared, to carry out good works. Therefore, the purpose of living is not merely to eat, drink, marry, and carry on life, but to value spiritual life above all.
A person’s life is valuable because, through God’s salvation, they receive a heavenly and noble identity—the identity of being God’s children. It is because a life once defiled and dead in sin is given new and living life through God’s redemption. It is also because, by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, a lowly, defiled, sinful, and once rejectable life is transformed into a holy, beautiful, and precious one, becoming a vessel fit for God’s use. Each day, we should live within God’s will. Those who belong to God are His workmanship, created in Christ. The Lord has already prepared the path ahead—whom we will meet, where we should go, what we should do, and when—all that a person experiences throughout life is within God’s will. Just as with Paul’s life: he no longer lived for himself, but lived according to God’s will. He clearly understood that the value of life lies in obtaining an incorruptible crown, so he strove to fight the good fight for eternal life. He regarded what was entrusted to him as of utmost importance, placing the proclamation of salvation first. His life was completely lived for the Lord—laboring for the salvation of souls and doing all kinds of good works for the sake of entering eternal life and salvation.
May the children of God live out a noble and meaningful life. This nobility is not found in worldly status, but in the identity of being citizens of God’s kingdom. Let life become truly valuable—not living for oneself, but living for the Lord; striving for the eternal glory to be gained in the Lord, and laboring for the salvation of souls.
Scripture
Ecclesiastes
Chapter 1 Verses 2–3, 11
“Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher,
vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
What profit hath a man of all his labour
which he taketh under the sun?
…
There is no remembrance of former things;
neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come
with those that shall come after.”
Romans
Chapter 12 Verse 1
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,
that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God,
which is your reasonable service.”
Ephesians
Chapter 2 Verses 1–6, 8–10
“And you hath he quickened,
who were dead in trespasses and sins;
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world,
according to the prince of the power of the air,
the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past
in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind;
and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
But God, who is rich in mercy,
for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Even when we were dead in sins,
hath quickened us together with Christ,
(by grace ye are saved;)
And hath raised us up together,
and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
…
For by grace are ye saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For we are his workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus unto good works,
which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
Ecclesiastes
Chapter 12 Verses 12–14
“And further, by these, my son, be admonished:
of making many books there is no end;
and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God, and keep his commandments:
for this is the whole duty of man.
For God shall bring every work into judgment,
with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”
