(2026.01.07  聖靈的安慰)

按著定命，人人都有一死，死後且要面對審判；

然而因著神的慈愛與憐憫，祂親自施行拯救，為要拯救罪人；因祂的旨意本是最美、最善的；

主第一次來，道成肉身，為要救贖世人，親身擔當眾人的罪，代替世人承受罪所當受的刑罰；主第二次再來，與罪無關，乃是為要完成救恩，向那些熱切等候祂的人顯現，使他們得著神所應許的永恆生命；既是如此，若人忽略這麼大的救贖恩典，又怎能逃脫神公義的審判、罪所帶來的刑罰，以及最終滅亡的結局呢；

我們既已領受主的恩典，並在受洗之後歸屬於主；既是屬主的人，就當看重這更美的約，持守這聖約，在世上奔走天國的道路，堅持忍耐到底；

靈命要不斷靠著聖靈得以更新；舊約中，神將誡命寫在石版上，乃是將來之事的影兒；如今在新約裡，神不是叫人停留在外在的形式或規條上，也不是僅著重於背誦、抄寫經文而已；乃是將祂的誡命刻在人的心版上，使人藉著重生的洗（外在），並聖靈持續的更新（內在），真實地從裡面被更新，生命得著改變，自然行走在公義的道路上，生命也藉著聖靈得以成聖；

我們當記念主的死；若沒有主耶穌為我們流出寶血，使罪得以赦免；若沒有十字架的救恩，就沒有新生命的開始，也沒有復活的生命；

受洗之後，主已為我們穿上聖潔的白衣；我們也當不斷省察，是否一直保守這聖潔的白衣，不致被罪所沾染而成為污穢；

我們當用誠實的心敬拜神、事奉神、跟從神，將生命的方向與人生的道路全然交託，讓主親自引領；

我們當感謝神的救恩；祂賜人氣息與生命，並將一切美善賜給世人；又因主的救贖，使人脫離因罪所當承擔的永遠刑罰，使一切願意相信祂、遵行祂話語的人，得以承受永遠的福分。

聖經

(哥林多後書3:2-3,5-6)

你們就是我們的薦信，寫在我們的心裏，被眾人所知道所念誦的。你們明顯是基督的信，藉着我們修成的。不是用墨寫的，乃是用永生神的靈寫的；不是寫在石版上，乃是寫在心版上。…並不是我們憑自己能承擔甚麼事；我們所能承擔的，乃是出於神。他叫我們能承當這新約的執事，不是憑着字句，乃是憑着精意；因為那字句是叫人死，精意（或譯：聖靈）是叫人活。

(彼得前書1:2-7 )

就是照父神的先見被揀選，藉着聖靈得成聖潔，以致順服耶穌基督，又蒙他血所灑的人。願恩惠、平安多多地加給你們。願頌讚歸與我們主耶穌基督的父神！他曾照自己的大憐憫，藉耶穌基督從死裏復活，重生了我們，叫我們有活潑的盼望，可以得着不能朽壞、不能玷污、不能衰殘、為你們存留在天上的基業。 你們這因信蒙神能力保守的人，必能得着所預備、到末世要顯現的救恩。 因此，你們是大有喜樂；但如今，在百般的試煉中暫時憂愁， 叫你們的信心既被試驗，就比那被火試驗仍然能壞的金子更顯寶貴，可以在耶穌基督顯現的時候得着稱讚、榮耀、尊貴。

Remembering the Lord’s Death (Part 2)

(2026.01.07 · The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit)

According to God’s appointed order, everyone must die once, and after death comes judgment.

Yet because of God’s love, mercy, and compassion, He personally carried out His plan of salvation in order to save sinners, for His will is always the best and the most good.

At His first coming, the Lord took on flesh to redeem the world. He personally bore the sins of all people and took upon Himself the punishment that sin deserves. When the Lord comes a second time, it will no longer be to deal with sin, but to complete salvation and to appear to those who eagerly wait for Him, so that they may receive the eternal life God has promised. If this is so, then how can anyone escape God’s righteous judgment, the punishment brought by sin, and the final outcome of destruction, if they neglect such a great salvation?

Since we have already received the Lord’s grace and now belong to Him after baptism, then as people who belong to the Lord, we must value this better covenant, hold fast to this holy covenant, and run the path toward the heavenly kingdom in this world, persevering with endurance to the very end.

Spiritual life must continually be renewed through the Holy Spirit. In the Old Testament, God wrote His commandments on stone tablets, which were only a shadow of what was to come. Now, in the New Covenant, God does not want people to remain in outward forms or regulations, nor merely to focus on memorizing or copying Scripture. Instead, He engraves His commandments on the tablets of the human heart, so that through the washing of rebirth in baptism (outwardly) and the continual renewing work of the Holy Spirit (inwardly), a person is truly renewed from within. Life is transformed, one naturally walks in the path of righteousness, and life is sanctified through the Holy Spirit.

We are to remember the Lord’s death. Without the precious blood that the Lord Jesus shed for us so that sins could be forgiven, and without the salvation of the cross, there would be no beginning of new life and no resurrection life.

After baptism, the Lord has clothed us with holy white garments. We must continually examine ourselves to see whether we are still keeping these holy garments pure, so that they are not stained by sin and become defiled.

We should worship God, serve God, and follow God with sincere hearts, fully entrusting the direction of our lives and the course of our journey to Him, allowing the Lord Himself to lead us.

We should give thanks to God for His salvation. He gives people breath and life and bestows all good things upon the world. Through the Lord’s redemption, people are delivered from the eternal punishment brought about by sin, so that all who are willing to believe in Him and obey His word may inherit eternal blessings.

Chapter 3 Verses 2–3, 5–6 

Ye are our epistle written in our hearts,

known and read of all men:

Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ

ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God;

not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves;

but our sufficiency is of God;

Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament;

not of the letter, but of the spirit:

for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

1 Peter

Chapter 1 Verses 2–7 

Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father,

through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience

and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ:

Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

which according to his abundant mercy

hath begotten us again unto a lively hope

by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away,
