(2026.01.09  聖靈的安慰)

主耶穌基督既已藉著自己的寶血,成為我們與神之間永遠有效的中保,使我們得以來到神面前,與神相交;因此,在世上每一天的日子裡,我們就當分別為聖,追求聖潔;因為經上說,人非聖潔,不能見主;神既是聖潔的,我們也當成為聖潔;故此,我們當謹慎自守,保守自己的心,不容污穢與罪惡進入;

求神藉著祂的道、真理與誡命,保守我們的心,使我們的心不偏離正路,不隨從罪與錯謬;又賜給我們清潔的心,使我們行在祂的旨意中,使正直的靈住在我們裡面,引導我們的心思意念;也求主使我們的心能分辨是非善惡,存著無愧的良心;不對罪失去知覺,而是在心被提醒、被責備時,能立刻醒悟,心意得以更新轉變,不再行在錯誤的道路上,而是轉回歸向神;並能即時悔改,使神不記念我們的罪孽,寬恕我們的不義;不再讓罪作王,使我們得以潔淨,也不因長久停留在罪中,而阻隔我們與神的關係;

所以,在每一次事情臨到、面對抉擇、站在十字路口的時候,我們都能堅定選擇公義的道路,心中沒有虧欠,就能無所懼怕,並坦然無愧地來到神面前;

我們當存誠實的心來到神面前,因為神是輕慢不得的;神看人不像人看人,人憑外表所見作出判斷,神卻鑒察人心,厭惡虛假;即便外表看似敬虔,若內裡不是真實的,也是不蒙神喜悅的;所以,人不可只用嘴巴尊敬神、親近神,心卻遠離神;當要從裡面持守聖潔,用真誠、不假冒的心,敬拜萬靈的父,獨一的真神;

To come before God with a sincere heart and full assurance of faith

(2026.01.09 – The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit)

Since the Lord Jesus Christ has, through His own precious blood, become the eternally effective mediator between God and us, making it possible for us to come before God and have fellowship with Him, we therefore ought, in our daily lives on this earth, to set ourselves apart and pursue holiness. Scripture tells us that without holiness no one can see the Lord. God Himself is holy, and so we also must be holy. For this reason, we should be watchful and disciplined, guarding our hearts carefully and not allowing impurity or sin to enter.

We ask God to guard our hearts through His word, His truth, and His commandments, so that our hearts do not turn aside from the right path or follow sin and error. We ask Him to give us a clean heart, so that we may walk in His will, and to let a right and upright spirit dwell within us, guiding our thoughts and intentions. We also ask the Lord to give us discernment between right and wrong, good and evil, and to keep a clear and blameless conscience. We pray that we would not become numb to sin, but that when our hearts are reminded and convicted, we would awaken immediately, allowing our minds to be renewed and transformed, no longer walking in the wrong way but turning back to God. May we repent in time, so that God does not remember our sins but forgives our wrongdoing. May sin no longer reign over us, so that we may be cleansed and not allow prolonged sin to hinder our relationship with God.

Therefore, whenever things come upon us, when we face decisions, and when we stand at life’s crossroads, we are able to firmly choose the path of righteousness. With no guilt in our hearts, we can live without fear and come before God with confidence and a clear conscience.

We must come before God with an honest and sincere heart, for God cannot be mocked. God does not look at people the way humans do. People judge by outward appearance, but God examines the heart and hates falsehood. Even if someone appears outwardly devout, if what is inside is not genuine, it is not pleasing to God. Therefore, we must not merely honor God with our lips or draw near to Him in words while our hearts are far from Him. Instead, we are to uphold holiness from within and worship the Father of all spirits, the one true God, with a sincere and unpretended heart.

We are also to come before the Lord with full assurance of faith. Because of Christ’s salvation, the baptism for the forgiveness of sins, and the assurance given by the Holy Spirit, our faith is made firm. We hold the hope of the kingdom of heaven, fully convinced that we will enter eternal life and inherit the heavenly inheritance God has prepared for us. For this reason, the hope we confess regarding what we look forward to will not be shaken. The God we believe in is faithful, and His promises are true and trustworthy. Therefore, we must firmly hold on to His unchanging promises and follow the Lord with single-minded devotion to the very end. No matter how circumstances change or what we encounter, our faith in the Lord must not be shaken, and we are to live each day on this earth by faith.

Scripture

Hebrews

Chapter 10 Verses 19–23

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

And having an high priest over the house of God;

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

1 Timothy

Chapter 1 Verse 19

Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:

Romans

Chapter 2 Verses 13, 15

For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;

Romans

Chapter 8 Verses 1–10

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
