(2026.01.15. 聖靈的安慰)
當試煉臨到時,要知道試煉不是要拆毀人,使人跌倒;而是神藉着試煉來造就人的靈命,使我們不再停留在屬靈尚未成熟的階段,只專顧自己、看重世界,仍被世界的引誘牽引,隨波飄盪,信心軟弱,屬靈的生命仍未潔淨;神也藉此使我們在主裡長大,使生命逐漸變得剛強,成為合用的器皿;
當試煉臨到時,神藉此使人的靈命得以成熟,被預備好,並從世界中被分別出來;試煉能成為屬靈的靈糧;人若得着從神而來的養分,生命就能成長、成熟並且剛強;使人清楚明白蒙主恩召的目的,是要我們在活著的日子預備自己,以聖潔裝飾整齊,使生命更新成為新人,成為真正屬神的人,等候主耶穌再來接我們,進入榮耀的國度裡;
當試煉臨到時,不憑情緒發言,不被環境牽引,也不要急著為自己下結論;當安靜下來思想主的話,無論在動盪或急迫之中,主的話依然能引導我們的方向,指引我們所當行的道路;要用屬靈的眼光看待所發生的事,站在真理中警醒察看,查驗自己的信仰是否有破口,是否給魔鬼留有地步;並按着真理的教導,承認自己的軟弱,承認自己在哪些地方仍無法在神面前站立得住;如此,才能繼續往前行,不被患難擊倒;
當試煉臨到時,你不是獨自一人面對苦難、經歷操練;主耶穌與你同行,陪伴你走過;祂不是要你獨自承擔,而是要你學會倚靠主,使生命從軟弱轉為剛強,倚靠主走過風浪,成為得勝的人;
要將下垂的手舉起,在主面前謙卑禱告,求主賜下面對試煉的勇氣,也賜下屬靈的智慧,使人能走過艱難;並求主賜下信心,使我們能持守信仰到底;求主加添力量,使我們不再只看肉體所受的苦與眼前的困難,而是轉眼仰望主耶穌;因為有主同在,我們不至懼怕;也要將發酸的腳挺起,靠着主耶穌的大能與幫助,使我們有力量走過流淚谷,深知祂必引領我們到達豐富之地,使我們得着心所盼望、更美的家鄉;

Spiritual Training in Trials: Being Built Up in the Lord, Moving Toward Maturity and Victory (3)
(2026.01.15. The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit)
When trials come, we need to understand that they are not meant to tear us down or cause us to fall. Instead, God uses trials to build up our spiritual life. Through them, He prevents us from remaining in a state of spiritual immaturity—only caring about ourselves, valuing the world, being pulled along by its temptations, drifting with the current, having weak faith, and living a spiritual life that has not yet been purified. Through trials, God also helps us grow in the Lord, making our lives gradually stronger, so that we may become vessels fit for His use.
When trials come, God uses them to bring our spiritual life to maturity, to prepare us, and to set us apart from the world. Trials can become spiritual nourishment. When a person receives nourishment that comes from God, life can grow, mature, and become strong. This helps us clearly understand the purpose of God’s calling—that while we are still living, we are to prepare ourselves, to be clothed and adorned with holiness, to have our lives renewed and become new people, to become those who truly belong to God, and to wait for the return of the Lord Jesus, who will take us into His glorious kingdom.
When trials come, do not speak based on emotions, do not let circumstances control you, and do not rush to draw conclusions about yourself. Instead, quiet yourself and reflect on the Lord’s word. Whether in turmoil or urgency, the Lord’s word is still able to guide our direction and show us the path we should walk. We must view what happens with spiritual eyes, stay alert while standing in the truth, and examine whether there are any breaches in our faith, whether we have given the devil any opportunity. According to the teaching of the truth, we should acknowledge our weaknesses and admit in which areas we are still unable to stand firm before God. Only then can we continue moving forward without being crushed by hardship.
When trials come, you are not facing suffering or undergoing training alone. The Lord Jesus walks with you and accompanies you through it all. He does not want you to carry everything by yourself; rather, He wants you to learn to rely on Him, so that your life may be transformed from weakness into strength. By relying on the Lord, you can pass through the storms and become one who overcomes.
Lift up your drooping hands and humbly pray before the Lord. Ask Him to grant you the courage to face trials, and to give you spiritual wisdom so that you may pass through difficulties. Ask Him to grant you faith so that you can hold fast to your faith until the end. Ask the Lord to add strength to you, so that you will no longer focus only on the suffering of the flesh and the hardships before your eyes, but instead turn your gaze toward the Lord Jesus. For with the Lord’s presence, we have no need to fear. Straighten your feeble knees, and rely on the mighty power and help of the Lord Jesus, so that you may have the strength to walk through the valley of tears, knowing deeply that He will surely lead you into a place of abundance, where you will receive what your heart longs for—a better homeland.
Our God is worthy to be praised. For in the midst of trials, He still shows mercy to those who love Him and supplies all that is needed to those who look to Him, so that they lack nothing. Those who patiently wait for the Lord will surely see the abundance that God gives and bear witness to His works. By the strength that the Lord supplies, we are more than conquerors, continuing to move forward on the path that leads to the kingdom of heaven.
Scripture
John
Chapter 16 Verse 33
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace.
In the world ye shall have tribulation:
but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
Romans
Chapter 8 Verses 17–18
“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ;
if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared
with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
Isaiah
Chapter 40 Verses 29–31
“He giveth power to the faint;
and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint.”
1 Peter
Chapter 5 Verses 7–10
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil,
as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions
are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus,
after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”
Isaiah
Chapter 30 Verses 20–21
“And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction,
yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more,
but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:
And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying,
This is the way, walk ye in it,
when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”
